The Inn Upon Moon River Plantation is a Bed and Breakfast in the American tradition of licensed Bed and Breakfasts, where hospitality and serving guests still reign the highest priority. The Inn Keepers are on site, beds are neatly and lovingly made-up and are adorned with hand ironed pressed sheets and pillowcases. Guests are invited to sit down with the inn--keepers to a family breakfast made from scratch and be served in grand style in the picturesque Louis Armstrong Dining Room. Slumber in a blues, jazz and gospel music museum with “one of a kind” themed guest rooms located in historic Chester, South Carolina. We offer a variety of amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. 6 coal burning fireplaces, 10ft. ceilings, front porch and side porch with rocking chairs to experience a small town's coming and going. We provide complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi access. We are in walking distance to quaint and historic Downtown Chester shops and restaurants, the Historical Society Museum, the Transportation Museum, Farmer's Market, City Hall and the Chester Aquatic and Fitness Center. By car, the Inn Upon Moon River Plantation is located about 5 minutes from Chester State Park with fishing, canoeing and hiking trails and within minutes to Sky Dive Carolina, Regional Hospital, Great Falls Kayaking, Lansford Canal State Park, Restaurants, and other attractions such as the Newberry Opera House, Carowinds Amusement Park and NarroWay Theatre with family friendly dinner shows.

A Blues Museum
Inn upon Moon River Bed & Breakfast is a Living Blues Museum. The Inn is full of art and collectibles from the Inn Keeper’s passion and history in the blues, as well as continuing the blues forward on a strong foundation, seeking, searching ourselves for truth, nonviolence, freedom, equal rights, justice, true to the blues original foundation, with our annual MLK Jr. Blues Festival in January.
